| Berkshire Perodua Dealership We have been established since 1976 as an independent used car centre specialising in the sale and servicing of Ford motor cars we have built an enviable reputation in the motor trade. After 30 years of trading we decided it was time to look for a new car franchise that would complement what we now sell and add value to our business. We purchased 30 second hand small hatchbacks from different manufacturers and tested them over a 2 year period to see how they drove, how easy they were to service, how easy parts were available, how reliable they were and how easy they were to sell. After taking advice from our service centre technicians with regards to the quality of the engineering they chose Toyota and Perodua. Unfortunately a Toyota franchise was not available to us so we approached Perodua.

It wasn't until we had taken the franchise on that we found out that Toyota has quite an influence over perodua. The Perodua Myvi is badged as a Toyota Passo in Japan and gets its engine from the Toyota Yaris. The Perodua Myvi has broken all sales forecasts since production and Perodua are having to increase output from the factory from 160,000 to 250,000 units per annum to keep up with demand. The Myvi has had rave reviews since launch over its styling quality and value and is will be a great success in the UK .
